Dear Members,

During these difficult times when good news is in short supply, we would like to share with you an uplifting project that is close to our hearts.

After months of discussions, we are pleased to announce that the boards of our two non-profit organizations have approved a project to unify our strengths.

Committed to the development of our members in the pursuit of excellence, the FC Gatineau and the Aylmer Soccer Club have decided to work together. This project will not only give a new impetus to soccer in Outaouais; above all this union will give birth to a club that Gatineau residents of all ages can be proud of.

With this union, we wish to offer to all our players access to quality coaching and foster the development of our younger players to reach the highest levels of competition should they have the interest to do so. We wish for our employees and numerous volunteers to feel they can rally behind an ambitious project for the western Gatineau community, as well as for our many partners.

Ultimately, this unification will allow the new entity to position itself as a leader in the region with the ambition of achieving the highest levels of performance both on and off the field.

Through this collaboration, we hope to contribute to Gatineau's reputation and help promote a healthy lifestyle in an inclusive and welcoming community.

We will record the information session and upload it on both clubs’ website to ensure that it is available to all afterwards.
